Heartless – Taryn’s Hoedown Part 3

Girls:
<Ava smiles> Oh Brennan…
Boys:
<Brennan smiles, shakes his head, looks over at Ava, still smiling> Yeees?
Girls:
<Ava grins> Truth or dare, babe.
Boys:
<Brennan laughs> Oh.. I think “dare” is the way to go tonight.
Girls:
<Ava smiles> All right.. the same dare Aubrey had.. and you can’t use her to demonstrate.
Boys:
<Brennan arches a brow, smiles again> Does that mean you’re volunteering?
Girls:
<Ava shrugs> It’s *your* choice babe, the girl you’d most want to try it on.
Boys:
<Brennan looks at Ren, smiles>
Girls:
<Ren looks at Brennan, smiles back>
Boys:
<Brennan points at Siobhan, looks over at her> I’m gonna apologize in advance for the hay bale. It’s not exactly.. ideal.

Heartless – Taryn’s Hoedown Part 2

Girls:
<Bree smiles, leans over and kisses Samuel>
Girls:
<Shayla looks at Damien> I don’t think I’ve had ribs this good in a *long* time.

Boys:
<Damien nods to Shay> You and me both.
Girls:
<Shay smiles> And I totally dig the environment she’s created.
Boys:
<Damien looks at Shay, smiles, ,leans over and whispers to her what happened with the “hoedown” crack>
Girls:
<Shay blinks and whispers> That was shitty of Anya. <smiles> And I love it even more, *now*.
Boys:
<Damien smiles, nods> Hell, even Lucien’s digging it.
Boys:
<Damien looks at her> But you know how he is about feisty women.
Girls:
<Shay smiles> First hand. <grins> David better watch it or Taryn’s going to wake up with Lucien in her bed.
Boys:
<Damien smiles> I don’t think she’s quite feisty enough for that.
Girls:
<Shay laughs> Okay true. And She’s not in *your* bed.
Boys:
<Damien laughs, nods> True.
Boys:
<Christopher glances over at Ro, watches him eat for a second, smiles and shakes his head, whispers to Ava> And he says we can’t take him anywhere.
Girls:
<Ava smiles> He’s behaving because the food’s good. <grins>
Boys:
<Christopher smiles, nods> True. I should ask Taryn if she’ll share the recipe with Em.
Girls:
<Ava laughs> Oh my god she’d put it on the menu at the Caf√©.
Boys:
<Christopher smiles more broadly> Which would give us more reason to eat there.
Boys:
<Christopher laughs> Ribs on the menu right next to the lobster.
Girls:
<Ava laughs> Seriously. Can you see it? Lucien would die.
Boys:
<Christopher looks down the table at Lucien, smiles> I don’t know. He seems to be enjoying it.
Girls:
<Ava smiles> Yeah he does. <whispers> I can’t believe Jenna’s using a fork to eat her ribs with.
Boys:
<Christopher smiles at Ava> Yet, Aiden doesn’t seem to have that misconception.
Boys:
<Aiden glance over, smirks> Please. Aiden’s spent his whole life eatin’ mostly shit you don’t need a fork *for*.
Boys:
<Christopher grins> Tacos, hamburgers, sandwiches. I can see it.
Girls:
<Ava smiles, and snatches a rib off his plate>
Boys:
<Aiden smiles, goes back to eating>
Boys:
<Loch looks down the table at Shay> So, Shay… you ever do any modeling?
Boys:
<David looks at Taryn, smiles>
Girls:
<Shay looks at Loch and blinks> Uhh.. Not really. <looks at Damien>
Boys:
<Brennan looks down at Shay when Loch asks>
Girls:
<Taryn smiles at David>
Boys:
<Damien smiles at Shay, looks at Loch> Any particular reason you’re asking?
Boys:
<Loch shrugs> Not really.
Boys:
<Brennan smiles> Just.. there was a calendar at the garage David used to work at. The girl on it looked *just* like her.
Boys:
<Damien smiles again> She gets that a lot.
Girls:
<Shay shakes her head> Yeah.. My friend and rival back home has one too.
Boys:
<Ro looks at Shay, smiles> So.. we’re pretending you *didn’t* do the calendar?
Boys:
<all the boys look at Ro, Ro blinks> I *really* meant to whisper that.
Girls:
<Shay looks over at Ro, blinks> Wha’d I *ever* do to you?
Boys:
<Ro looks at Shay> Um… <Christopher smiles at Shay> Oh, come on. You can’t actually be *surprised* he *said* something.
Girls:
<Shay shakes her head> I’m not.. <looks at Brennan> Yes that’s my picture. <looks at Damien, smiles>
Boys:
<Loch looks at Shay, smiles> Babe.. it’s a hot calendar. What’s the big deal?
Boys:
<Damien smiles at Shay, to Ro> Yes, it is.
Boys:
<Seth looks at Shay> Hey.. at least you didn’t do a porn movie they recognized you from.
Girls:
<Shay looks at Seth, blinks, then smiles> Okay.. there *is* that.
Boys:
<Seth smiles> Yeah, *I* wasn’t so lucky.
Boys:
<Van smiles> That’s because you refuse to keep your face out of the shot. <takes a bite out of a rib>
Boys:
<Seth looks at Van> Yeah, well.. at least it was my *face* they recognized. Can you say that?
Boys:
<Van looks at Seth> Not since Sang started collecting the videos, no.
Girls:
<Shay arches her brow, smiles at Damien> Do you recognize them?
Boys:
<Lucien looks at Shay> Are you kidding? At least three of the men at this table *not* from this town do.
Girls:
<Shay looks at Lucien> You too?
Boys:
<Conrad looks at Van and Seth> But we’re *much* more interested in the *girls* you work with.
Boys:
<Lucien smiles at Shay, goes back to eating>
Girls:
<Jenna smiles> I did.

Heartless – Taryn’s Hoedown

Girls:
<Taryn had gone all out for this party, complete with paper lanterns, red gingham tablecloths and napkins, she’d stacked hay bales around and was using them for seating around a giant wooden picnic table, barrels of ice with cans of soda and various beers shoved deep in the ice to keep it cool, two fire pits burned on either side of the yard and candles floated in the pool, the menu consisted of baby back ribs, with her own special sweet sauce and a dry rub that added a tang to the ribs, she’d braised them in beer and now they were now sitting on the smoker giving off an aroma that could be smelled clear up to Saige’s cabin, also on the menu was southern style potato salad, homemade baked beans in a large crock, coleslaw, and for desert apple pie with hand turned crust, all of which sits on a buffet warmer/cooler table off to the side, the locals mill around in groups>
Girls:
<Taryn looks at David and smiles> I couldn’t resist.
Boys:
<David looks at Taryn, a beer in his hand> We’ve got Tequila, right?
Girls:
<Taryn nods> Of course. And I picked up some Jaeger for Genja and company.. along with some rum, vodka, gin and scotch..<shrugs> I wasn’t sure what everyone would want.
Boys:
<Seth walks over, smiling, looks at Taryn> Jesus Christ, Taryn, I feel like I’m on an episode of the Waltons.
Girls:
<Taryn smiles at Seth, putting on her best hillbilly accent> Great aint it? <drops the accent> You’re supposed to. I’m trying to make a point.
Boys:
<Van walks over with Seth, looking around> You know.. it would be interesting to know how all this translates over for Alexei. <looks at Taryn> I mean, think about it. Red and white checkered table cloths are *also* associated with Italian restaurants. I’m thinking there has to be a reason for that.

<Dominic looks at Anya>
Boys:
<Alexei looks at Taryn> Are you all right, Bella?
Girls:
<Anya looks at Dom> We’re going out to ride horses tomorrow.
Girls:
<Taryn looks at Alexei, nods> Yes thank you.
Boys:
<Dom arches a brow> Well.. you should enjoy that.
Girls:
<Anya smiles> You and Alexei are coming too.
Boys:
<Alexei nods> I am sorry that my.. arguing.. with Dominic upset you. <looks at her> We are Italian. It is in the blood.
Boys:
<Dominic laughs> Oh, are we? <smiles, looks at Alexei> They want to put you on a horse.
Girls:
<Taryn softly> Thank you Alexei.. but you don’t need to apologize.
Boys:
<Alexei starts to say something else to Taryn, blinks, looks at Dominic> What did you just say?
Boys:
<Dominic smiles> They..want..to..put..you..on..a..horse. Was that slow enough?
Boys:
<Alexei arches a brow, looks at Anya> How did I come to be involved with this?

Hard Day’s Night – Dinner With Lucien Part 2

Boys:
<meanwhile, back at the table>
Girls:
<Jenna walks back in and sits back at her place> Damien will be in in a few minutes.
Boys:
<Lucien looks at Jenna, smiles> Is he feeling better now?
Girls:
<Jenna smiles winningly at Lucien> Of course he is.. I know how to tame the savage beast.
Boys:
<Ro smiles at Jenna> I promise not to antagonize him anymore.
Boys:
<Lucien smiles again, nods to Jenna> Yes, you do. <looks at Ro> Damn. But I guess even I have to see the wisdom in that decision.
Girls:
<Jenna smiles at Roland> I would appreciate that. While I’m used to cold meals..I would prefer to not have to eat too many more in the near future.
Boys:
<Ro nods> I’ve been properly chastised. <smiles> And I *am* sorry.
Boys:
<Lucien bursts out laughing> Damn, Ro. You almost sound like you mean it.
Girls:
<Jenna smiles> You’re forgiven. <looks at Lucien and smiles>
Boys:
<Ro goes back to eating, blatantly ignoring Lucien>
Boys:
<Lucien looks at Jenna, smiles> I love it when he ignores me.
Girls:
<Jenna smiles> He did mean it.
Boys:
<Lucien nods, whispers> Probably.
Girls:
<Jenna smiles> So what are we doing after dinner?
Boys:
<Lucien smiles> What would you like to do?
Girls:
<Jenna looks at him> What is there to do, besides go back to the hotel?
Boys:
<Lucien smiles wickedly> Are you propositioning me?
Girls:
<Jenna arches her brow> You can’t be *that* out of practice Lucien.
Boys:
<Lucien laughs> Dammit, woman, you’re supposed to play along.
Girls:
<Jenna smiles wickedly>
Boys:
<Lucien smiles> You asked me what there was to do *besides* go back to the hotel. You didn’t ask me what there was to do that was *better* than going back to the hotel. In which case, I would have to say nothing.
Girls:
<Jenna laughs> Point taken.
Boys:
<Ethan listens to them, leans over and whispers to Bree and Samuel> So.. are the people we’ve met like.. the average person in your town or are they the ones that, like, stand out?
Boys:
<Samuel looks at Ethan, smiles> I don’t know. They seem pretty average to me.
Boys:
<Ethan smiles> Wow. Awesome.
Girls:
<Bree smiles> They’re the average.
Girls:
<Sangria smiles at Ethan and whispers> Digging them?
Boys:
<Ethan looks at Sang, smiles> Is it wrong that I do?
Girls:
<Sang shakes her head> Not at all.
Boys:
<Ethan whispers> You?
Girls:
<Sangria nods> Totally.
Boys:
<Ethan smiles, whispers> I almost feel like I’m cheating.
Girls:
<Sangria laughs> Me too. <smiles> But I felt like that with Aiden too.
Boys:
<Ethan nods> Yeah. I felt that way with Heather and the other girls, too.
Boys:
<Ethan whispers> Especially when I got caught with Kendra on my lap.
Girls:
<Sangria nods> I don’t doubt it. That was kind of… brutal.
Boys:
<Ethan smiles> It was also kind of dickish of me.
Girls:
<Sangria smiles> Shh.. I wasn’t going to say that.
Boys:
<Ethan smiles again, nods>
Girls:
<Taryn looks at Lucien> You guys are welcome to come to the Ranch and ride or just hang out. When the guys and Bree practice..it’s usually behind closed doors.

Boys:
<Lucien smiles at Taryn> Thank you. We just might take you up on that. <looks at Jenna> Sounds like you’re taking a vacation.
Girls:
<Jenna shakes her head and looks at Lucien> I can’t remember the last time I did. <smiles> Maybe I should. I don’t have any appointments that can’t be rescheduled.
Boys:
<Lucien nods> And neither do I.
Girls:
<Jenna smiles brighter> So..*we’re* taking a vacation?
Boys:
<Lucien smiles> Yes, we are. And it’s about damn time, too.
Girls:
<Jenna laughs> Yes it is. <looks at Samuel and Aiden> You guys hear that right.. You are not allowed to get shot this week.
