Life of My Own Part 10

Boys:
[meanwhile, Lucien approaches Genja with Chloe while Edward is introducing him to Taryn]
Girls:
[Taryn looks up at Genja, quietly] It’s an honor to meet you.. sir.
Boys:
[Genja nods to Taryn] It’s nice to meet you. [looks at Edward] Why is thing taking so *fucking* long?
Boys:
[Lucien interrupts] Possibly because humans are running around randomly staking vampires.
Girls:
[Chloe stops and looks at Lucien] Yes.. there’s that.
Girls:
[Taryn looks at Edward and moves over beside him out of the way]
Boys:
[Edward looks at Taryn, smiles, whispers] *Now* would be a good time to go unless you want to hear what’s going on.
Girls:
[Taryn softly] If you do. [smiles] I am curious.
Boys:
[Genja looks at Lucien] I understand that was taken care of.
Boys:
[Edward nods, moves out of the way so they can listen and be forgotten at the same time]
Boys:
[Lucien nods] Yes. By my *brother*. We have some concerns about that, actually.
Girls:
[Chloe shakes her head] Damien wasn’t the only one staked. And he’s already let her out.

Life Of My Own Part 3

Girls:
[Summer, Heather, Silver and Anya come down en masse]
Boys:
[Dominic lets Edward go as he walks along the cells looking at the girls inside, Edward heads straight for the virgin cage remembering what Sang told him]
Boys:
[Edward frowns, watching Taryn for a second, clears his throat] Are you Taryn?
Girls:
[Taryn turns over sits up and nods, softly]Y..yes.
Boys:
[Edward smiles] I’m Edward. Sangria said I should talk to you.
Girls:
[Taryn raises her eyes to his, tilts her head, still very softly] She did? Wow.
Boys:
[Edward smiles again] Yes. I agree with that assessment. She didn’t mention how pretty you are.
Girls:
<Taryn smiles and blushes> Thank you… I.. um.. I didn’t expect anyone to stop here again.
Boys:
[Edward nods] Do you mind if I come in? The bars are… unsettling.
Girls:
[Taryn nods] Please come in…[smiles] They are…confining.
Boys:
[Jace walks over and unlocks the cell, Edward watches him, looks at Jace] Really? Someone actually saw *her* as a threat?
Boys:
[Jace looks at Edward, smirks] We didn’t exactly take a poll or anything.
Girls:
[Taryn smiles quietly]Must be my black belt.

Then I could Hurt You in the End

Damien followed Sang, ignoring the question because he was still mentally perusing his very long list of options.  Glen looked over at Sang.  “Yeah, so, anyway, I’m Glen.  This is Silver, Heather and Summer.”  Edward followed shaking his head.  “This is going to get bloody.”  Glen nodded to Edward.  “Shit happens.”

Meanwhile, Seth headed to from the dungeon, following Heather’s summons.

When they reached the room, Damien pulled Sang back and told her to wait by the door.  Upon seeing the position Kendra held Simone’s body in, he said to Sang, “Looks like Kendra beat you to it.”  He didn’t even give her a chance to respond before he was across the room, standing in front of the woman who’d rammed a piece of wood through his back.  He grabbed a handful of her hair and yanked her head aside, then sunk his fangs into her exposed neck while Glen and Edward watched.  Glen smiled.  “Bet she didn’t stop to think he’d be hungry after that.”

While Damien was draining Simone, Viktor was pulling a similar makeshift stake out of Chloe.

I Won’t Listen to Your Shame

Aiden cast a sideways glance toward Jenna as she was trying to talk to him.  Confinement made him quieter than usual, as well as more alert, tense, jumpy, defensive and dangerous.  He watched her warily thinking less about what she was saying and more about the underlying negotiation.  Everything was a negotiation.  He’d learned that years ago.  Things were different here than on the streets, but not all that much.  Sex was still a commodity, as was blood, apparently.  It wasn’t anything Aiden couldn’t adapt to, and rather quickly.

Alexei took the rest of the girls Genja had chosen to be cleaned, fed and shown their new living arrangements while Seth waited for instructions.  He was only half paying attention to what was going on, though.  His thoughts were on Siobhan and Aubrey, how they’d been claimed and what that meant to him, Jace and Alexei in the long run.

Dominic walked into the dungeon in time to watch Chloe peruse the cells and was still there when she was taken down. Glen had fallen back to wait for Edward and was walking with him when Sangria screamed.  Edward took off at a dead run with Glen following close behind.  Within the space of a few heartbeats, Viktor was on his way to Chloe.

When Edward and Glen reached Damien and Sang, Edward stopped and looked over Damien’s prone form.  “What happened?” he asked Sang.  Glen smirked, walking over to the body.  “What’s it look like, genius.  Somebody nailed Damien.  And judging from the fact his girl is still standin’ here, I’d say it probably wasn’t her.  But we’ll know for sure in a second.”  He leaned down, grabbed the piece of wood protruding from Damien’s back with both hands, and in a burst of preternatural strength yanked it out with a wet sucking sound.  Damien lurched to his feet, fangs and claws extended and growled at Glen even as the wound began closing on his back.  He grabbed the makeshift stake from Glen and looked at Sang.  “Where’d she go?”  Edward arched a brow.  “She?”  Glen laughed.  “She?  Perfect.” Then he smiled.  “So, let’s find us a little bitch and make an example out of her.”

Boys:
<Edward looks at Eden, smiles> I’m thinking I’m going to all but fuck you on the dance floor and there’s not damn thing anyone can say about it.
Boys:
<Edward smiles again> Or was I supposed to be thinking about something else?
Girls:
<Eden smiles brightly>That’s funny because I was thinking how much I wanted you to do that. <leans in and whispers> And I’m not wearing any panties.
Boys:
<Edward looks at her, quietly> And then I’ll fuck you somewhere a little less center stage.

<Eden softly> I figured you would. <looks at him> Several times.

Ring the Alarm Part 4

Girls:
<Ciara answers> Hello?
Boys:
<Genja glances over at Aaron and Glen, to Ciara> All right, so.. we were throwing around theories about Sebastian and Daniel being psychic vampires. Aaron didn’t answer your question because he knew you’d just get upset or defensive.
Girls:
<Ciara blinks> Why?
Boys:
<Genja shakes his head> Listen.. he was asking you those questions because he was trying to figure out Daniel’s M.O. You, Nay and Ava all had being vulnerable in common. Aaron thinks the architecture thing might be a genuine interest because it wasn’t something you really shared, but the camera is a prop. And it’s easier to get noticed and approached when you’re the new guy in a small town than in a big city. We were also talking about feeding habits and how easily the women Daniel knows could become addicted to him and the lengths they’d go to, to defend him and if a cycle of going to him when things went wrong in your lives would or could manifest. One of the girls wondered if that had happened with you and contributed to your.. break ups.
Boys:
<Genja shakes his head> There’s more but that’s the general gist of it. So, Aaron locked on the part about his “cunt of an ex wife” possibly having fallen prey to this while you were together.
Girls:
<Ciara arches a brow> Oh no he didn’t.
Boys:
<Genja smiles> No, he didn’t what?
Girls:
<Ciara shakes her head> Call me that.
Boys:
<Genja nods> He said he can call you anything he wants when you’re not around to hear it. After he got off the phone with you earlier, he said he had to research auras and astral travel. And he and Edward had a very enlightening and lengthy discussion about it outside one of the stores. Just before we saw Daniel.
Girls:
<Ciara looks off in the distance> Shit. All right. I never slept with Daniel. <quietly> Genja.. I never wanted to hurt him. You know that don’t you?
