Kiss, Kiss On the Lips of the Apocalypse

Boys:
<Aaron’s at the table filling out job apps for Glen who’s upstairs putting the rest of the apps in his room, Genja walks through the dining room as he pulls out his phone and answers it> Hello?
Girls:
<Summer takes a deep breath> Genja? I’m not really sure if I should be telling you this but.. but.. Um.. I’ve either had a totally fucked up dream or I’m losing my fucking mind. Or it’s all real and …and.. shit. I don’t even know.

Boys:
<Genja arches a brow> Take another breath and tell me what’s going on.
Girls:
<Summer takes another deep breath> Sebastian and Daniel.. You saw them right? Yesterday? You saw me leave with them?
Boys:
<Genja nods> Of course we saw you with them.
Boys:
<Aaron looks over, listening to Genja>
Girls:
<Summer nods> After I left, did anything strange happen?
Boys:
<Genja nods> Only if you consider anything that Aaron does “strange”.
Boys:
<Aaron arches a brow>

We All Need a Little Fake Romance Now and Then – Monday

<Glen walks into Aaron’s room with bags o’ food and ice coffees, sets everything on the dresser, pulls out a couple of McMuffins and tosses them to Aaron and Ciara> Morning, starshines.
Boys:
<Aaron’s sitting on the floor with Ciara and a tarot spread between them, looks over at Glen, catches his sandwich> Wow. You actually made the breakfast rush. I was actually expecting cheeseburgers.
Boys:
<Glen nods, grabs a sandwich, walks over to the bed and sits down, falls on his back with his feet hanging off the end, grabs a couple of pillows and pulls them under his head, nods as he unwraps his muffin> Dude, I almost didn’t.
Girls:
<Ciara looks over at Glen as her sandwich drops in her lap, smiles> Thanks. <unwraps hers as she studies the cards> That good?
Boys:
<Glen looks over at Ciara> That… interesting.
Girls:
<Ciara smiles> Cool. Do I want to know?
Boys:
<Aaron gets up, walks over to the dresser, grabs two of the three coffees and carries them back over to Ciara, sets one beside her and sits back down, unwraps his sandwich and starts eating it>

<Edward looks at Eden> Since when does *Ciara* dance like that?
Girls:
<Eden shakes her head> Fuck if I know. I’ve never seen her do that. Ever.
Boys:
<Edward nods> Only place I’ve seen her do anything even remotely resembling that is in the bedroom.
Girls:
<Eden smiles> He is her ex-husband.
Boys:
<Glen comes back over to the table, grabs Kendra’s hand> Come on. <looks at Genja> I’m borrowing your woman for a few minutes.

<Eden looks over at Edward and smiles> So tell me what you’re thinking, baby.
Boys:
<Edward looks at Eden, smiles> I’m thinking I’m going to all but fuck you on the dance floor and there’s not damn thing anyone can say about it.
Boys:
<Edward smiles again> Or was I supposed to be thinking about something else?
Girls:
<Eden smiles brightly>That’s funny because I was thinking how much I wanted you to do that. <leans in and whispers> And I’m not wearing any panties.
Boys:
<Edward looks at her, quietly> And then I’ll fuck you somewhere a little less center stage.
Girls:
<Eden softly> I figured you would. <looks at him> Several times.

<Summer leans into Sebastian’s kiss, softly> I don’t want to go in.
Boys:
<Sebastian nods, quietly> Then don’t.
Girls:
<Summer softly> I’ll lose my job.. there are a million girls everyday in there looking.
Boys:
<Sebastian looks at her> The job you’re ashamed of. So what if you do?
Girls:
<Summer looks at him> The job I need for my bills?
Boys:
<Sebastian nods> Right. <shakes his head>
Girls:
<Summer looks at him> What? I don’t like doing it but it’s something I’m good at until I can get on my feet again. Buying the house wiped me out.
Boys:
<Sebastian looks at her> I wasn’t thinking about.. bills.
Boys:
<Sebastian shakes his head> You don’t have to justify it to me.
Girls:
<Summer nods, looks down> I know.. <sighs softly, pulls out her phone and calls her boss>

Ring the Alarm Part 4

Girls:
<Ciara answers> Hello?
Boys:
<Genja glances over at Aaron and Glen, to Ciara> All right, so.. we were throwing around theories about Sebastian and Daniel being psychic vampires. Aaron didn’t answer your question because he knew you’d just get upset or defensive.
Girls:
<Ciara blinks> Why?
Boys:
<Genja shakes his head> Listen.. he was asking you those questions because he was trying to figure out Daniel’s M.O. You, Nay and Ava all had being vulnerable in common. Aaron thinks the architecture thing might be a genuine interest because it wasn’t something you really shared, but the camera is a prop. And it’s easier to get noticed and approached when you’re the new guy in a small town than in a big city. We were also talking about feeding habits and how easily the women Daniel knows could become addicted to him and the lengths they’d go to, to defend him and if a cycle of going to him when things went wrong in your lives would or could manifest. One of the girls wondered if that had happened with you and contributed to your.. break ups.
Boys:
<Genja shakes his head> There’s more but that’s the general gist of it. So, Aaron locked on the part about his “cunt of an ex wife” possibly having fallen prey to this while you were together.
Girls:
<Ciara arches a brow> Oh no he didn’t.
Boys:
<Genja smiles> No, he didn’t what?
Girls:
<Ciara shakes her head> Call me that.
Boys:
<Genja nods> He said he can call you anything he wants when you’re not around to hear it. After he got off the phone with you earlier, he said he had to research auras and astral travel. And he and Edward had a very enlightening and lengthy discussion about it outside one of the stores. Just before we saw Daniel.
Girls:
<Ciara looks off in the distance> Shit. All right. I never slept with Daniel. <quietly> Genja.. I never wanted to hurt him. You know that don’t you?

Ring the Alarm Part 3

Girls:
<Aubrey looks at Samuel, questioningly>
Boys:
<Samuel smiles at Aubrey, quietly> Let’s see what granny knows about psychic vampires and shit. <heads out the door>
Boys:
<Genja looks at the others as he pulls out his wallet and drops enough on the table to cover what’s rest of lunch> So, let’s go do some shopping and see what we see.
Girls:
<Eden and Kendra nod, Eden looks at Edward, quietly> Oh.. I think *this* is a good way to start our new lives. Mystery, intrigue and a murder.. <smiles>
Boys:
<Edward smiles at Eden> Don’t forget the occult elements and psychological twists.
Girls:
<Eden nods and grins> I won’t.
Boys:
<the boys get up and wait for the girls, those without post meal cigarettes lighting one up>

Ring the Alarm Part 2

Girls:
<Kendra looks over at Genja> Is she okay?
Boys:
<the boys look over at Genja>
Boys:
<Genja nods> She is now. <looks at Kendra> She said… she keeps seeing him. Or thinking she does. And it’s driving her crazy. She said the other day she was looking in a store window and thought she saw him in the reflection watching her but when she turned around he was gone.
Boys:
<Glen arches a brow> She thinks Sebastian’s *here*, stalking her?
Girls:
<Kendra looks at Genja> Wow. <looks at Glen>
Boys:
<Genja looks at Glen> She said she felt like he was part of her when they were together. If he felt the same way, don’t you think it’s possible that’s exactly what’s happening? <looks at Kendra> I would imagine just suddenly dropping into a coma and waking up several months later would seriously fuck with a person’s center of balance.
Girls:
<Kendra nods> Oh me too. But Summer’s never been prone to hysteria either.

Ring the Alarm, Sunday

Boys:
<Genja, Glen, Aaron and Kendra are already seated outside at Café Du Monde when Samuel and Aubrey arrive>
Boys:
<Genja and Aaron are watching the crowd on the street while Glen peruses the menu>
Girls:
<Kendra smiles> Beignets. The entire street smells like them.
Boys:
<Aaron shakes his head> I’m going to sound like such a fucking tourist, but.. I can’t actually believe we’re in *New Orleans*. <thinks for a second> Scratch that. I can’t believe I’m *anywhere* where people aren’t crossing the street when they see me coming.
Boys:
<Glen smiles> Give it time. They will be, just not for the reason you’re used to.

Girls:
<Kendra looks over at Aaron, quietly> I know I can’t believe we’re really here either. <smiles at Glen> No, they’ll hide their daughters from him, because well, *look* at him.
Boys:
<Glen looks at Kendra> Babe.. I look at him every day.
Boys:
<Aaron smiles at Kendra> Actually, people back home occasionally hid their daughters, too.
Boys:
<Genja smiles, listening to them>
