Boys:
<Christopher walks into the loft with Loch and David, looks around, smiles> Wow. This is *nice*.
Boys:
<Akhiro smiles> Thanks. We dig it.
Boys:
<Christopher looks at Akhiro, smiles again> Shit yeah. You look like rock stars already.
Boys:
<Tristan smiles> Or just a really gay couple.
Boys:
<Christopher laughs> Dude.. I was *so* not gonna say that.
Boys:
<Loch smiles, heads to the bar, grabs beers for the three of them, walks over and hands David and Christopher one each>
Boys:
<Van and Ethan hang out at the bar with their own drinks, Ethan smiles at Christopher> S’up?
Boys:
<Christopher shrugs> Not much.
Boys:
<David heads further inside> Yet.
Boys:
<Christopher looks at David> Yet? What does that mean? Exactly.

Ruby – Don’t Take Your Love to Town

Boys:
<Samuel walks through the pasture toward the barn after letting Spirit out, lighting a cigarette as he goes, David sits on the fence watching the horse run, takes a drag of his own cigarette> *That* is a beautiful horse.
Boys:
<Samuel nods, walks over and leans back against the fence, looking down the drive when he hears a car> Sure is.
Girls:
<a beat up old Volvo drives up and parks behind one of the trucks, a tiny redhead with impossibly long hair, and sky blue eyes, wearing a pair of jeans with skulls and cross bones bleached into them, a blue Henley, and purple, blue and black cammo combat boots, climbs out and stretches>
Boys:
<David looks over, sighs half-heartedly> And *that* would be?
Boys:
<Samuel smiles> That’d be Aiden’s gardener, Ciara.
Boys:
<David smiles> The one Christopher’s crushin’ on.
Girls:
<Ciara looks around smiles brightly at the surroundings, sees Samuel and waves>
Boys:
<Samuel nods> That’s the one. <smiles, waves at Ciara, calls to her> C’mon over here, darlin’.
Boys:
<Samuel hops the fence, walks towards her, David jumps down and follows him>
Girls:
<Ciara heads over to Samuel, starts speaking really fast> Hey. That’s one hell of a Drive. Christ I don’t know, *what* I was thinking and you know the air condition in the car works too well.. and by air condition I mean ..<Stops midsentence seeing David and drops her head blushing furiously>
Boys:
<Samuel smiles again, David smiles> Hey.
Boys:
<Samuel nods to Ciara> And by A/C you mean your windows don’t roll up?
Girls:
<Ciara raises her eyes to David, quietly> Hey. <smiles, then looks over at Samuel, shakes her head> The rust on the floor boards *and* the windows not rolling up. <shrugs> But at least mechanically she’s sound. I mean there might not be anything left but the chassis and engine by the time I get home..<grins> but they’ll be working.
Boys:
<Samuel laughs> And that’s all that matters, right?

Heartless – Divas in Love

Girls:
<Saige smiles at Loch> I think that was.. pretty telling.
Boys:
<Loch watches them leave, looks at Saige> What was?
Girls:
<Saige smiles> The fact that they all agreed with us..
Boys:
<Loch smiles> And what does it tell you other than we’re right?
Girls:
<Saige laughs> That and we aren’t alone and.. we have help and we’re not the minority.
Boys:
<Loch nods> Think our other friends are gonna be surprised?
Girls:
<Saige nods> Totally
Girls:
<Saige smiles> Especially when *we’re* the ones putting up the fights.
Boys:
<Loch nods> Which is gonna make things *really* interesting.
Girls:
<Saige nods> Oh totally. <smiles again> And maybe even more fun.

<Brennan pours a shot and slides it to Christopher, smiles> Get out by the skin of your teeth, too?
Girls:
<Bree smiles> Babe.. we pulled him out to save his ass.
Boys:
<Christopher smiles gratefully taking the shot, slams it, nods> Thanks… <looks at Loch and Saige> And can I just say.. *Wow*.
Girls:
<Saige smiles> All you want babe.
Boys:
<Samuel smiles, lights a cigarette, nods> Gave him a joint to chill him out in the truck.
Boys:
<Christopher shakes his head> That was just a *lot* of people and.. stuff goin’ on and… wow. <smiles> But it was fun as fuck.
Boys:
<Loch smiles> While it lasted?
Boys:
<Christopher nods> Totally.

Heartless – To Sub or Not To Sub

Boys:
<Brennan waits til they’re out of earshot of the group, looks over at Aubrey> So much for a united front, huh?
Girls:
<Aubrey nods> Really.
Boys:
<Brennan shakes his head> Is it wrong that I *love* it when David goes on those rants?
Girls:
<Aubrey smiles> Not at all.. <shrugs> Half the time I used to push him to them.
Boys:
<Brennan looks at her, smiles> Well, shit. No matter how much of an asshole you feel like.. by the time he’s done, suddenly you feel like a *much* nicer guy.
Boys:
<Brennan shakes his head> I don’t even care *who* he’s throwing under the bus.
Girls:
<Aubrey nods> I can see it.
Girls:
<Aubrey smiles again> I can’t believe…*Sang* just sat there.
Boys:
<Brennan laughs> Oh, my god. She didn’t even argue with Taryn about the emotional thing to make me feel like a dick.
Boys:
<Brennan looks at her> Which, by the way, totally worked.
Girls:
<Aubrey nods> I’m sure it did. Half the time women do that to weasel out of something.

Girls:
<Ava smiles> Oh Brennan…
Boys:
<Brennan smiles, shakes his head, looks over at Ava, still smiling> Yeees?
Girls:
<Ava grins> Truth or dare, babe.
Boys:
<Brennan laughs> Oh.. I think “dare” is the way to go tonight.
Girls:
<Ava smiles> All right.. the same dare Aubrey had.. and you can’t use her to demonstrate.
Boys:
<Brennan arches a brow, smiles again> Does that mean you’re volunteering?
Girls:
<Ava shrugs> It’s *your* choice babe, the girl you’d most want to try it on.
Boys:
<Brennan looks at Ren, smiles>
Girls:
<Ren looks at Brennan, smiles back>
Boys:
<Brennan points at Siobhan, looks over at her> I’m gonna apologize in advance for the hay bale. It’s not exactly.. ideal.

Heartless – Taryn’s Hoedown Part 2

Girls:
<Bree smiles, leans over and kisses Samuel>
Girls:
<Shayla looks at Damien> I don’t think I’ve had ribs this good in a *long* time.

Boys:
<Damien nods to Shay> You and me both.
Girls:
<Shay smiles> And I totally dig the environment she’s created.
Boys:
<Damien looks at Shay, smiles, ,leans over and whispers to her what happened with the “hoedown” crack>
Girls:
<Shay blinks and whispers> That was shitty of Anya. <smiles> And I love it even more, *now*.
Boys:
<Damien smiles, nods> Hell, even Lucien’s digging it.
Boys:
<Damien looks at her> But you know how he is about feisty women.
Girls:
<Shay smiles> First hand. <grins> David better watch it or Taryn’s going to wake up with Lucien in her bed.
Boys:
<Damien smiles> I don’t think she’s quite feisty enough for that.
Girls:
<Shay laughs> Okay true. And She’s not in *your* bed.
Boys:
<Damien laughs, nods> True.
Boys:
<Christopher glances over at Ro, watches him eat for a second, smiles and shakes his head, whispers to Ava> And he says we can’t take him anywhere.
Girls:
<Ava smiles> He’s behaving because the food’s good. <grins>
Boys:
<Christopher smiles, nods> True. I should ask Taryn if she’ll share the recipe with Em.
Girls:
<Ava laughs> Oh my god she’d put it on the menu at the Café.
Boys:
<Christopher smiles more broadly> Which would give us more reason to eat there.
Boys:
<Christopher laughs> Ribs on the menu right next to the lobster.
Girls:
<Ava laughs> Seriously. Can you see it? Lucien would die.
Boys:
<Christopher looks down the table at Lucien, smiles> I don’t know. He seems to be enjoying it.
Girls:
<Ava smiles> Yeah he does. <whispers> I can’t believe Jenna’s using a fork to eat her ribs with.
Boys:
<Christopher smiles at Ava> Yet, Aiden doesn’t seem to have that misconception.
Boys:
<Aiden glance over, smirks> Please. Aiden’s spent his whole life eatin’ mostly shit you don’t need a fork *for*.
Boys:
<Christopher grins> Tacos, hamburgers, sandwiches. I can see it.
Girls:
<Ava smiles, and snatches a rib off his plate>
Boys:
<Aiden smiles, goes back to eating>
Boys:
<Loch looks down the table at Shay> So, Shay… you ever do any modeling?
Boys:
<David looks at Taryn, smiles>
Girls:
<Shay looks at Loch and blinks> Uhh.. Not really. <looks at Damien>
Boys:
<Brennan looks down at Shay when Loch asks>
Girls:
<Taryn smiles at David>
Boys:
<Damien smiles at Shay, looks at Loch> Any particular reason you’re asking?
Boys:
<Loch shrugs> Not really.
Boys:
<Brennan smiles> Just.. there was a calendar at the garage David used to work at. The girl on it looked *just* like her.
Boys:
<Damien smiles again> She gets that a lot.
Girls:
<Shay shakes her head> Yeah.. My friend and rival back home has one too.
Boys:
<Ro looks at Shay, smiles> So.. we’re pretending you *didn’t* do the calendar?
Boys:
<all the boys look at Ro, Ro blinks> I *really* meant to whisper that.
Girls:
<Shay looks over at Ro, blinks> Wha’d I *ever* do to you?
Boys:
<Ro looks at Shay> Um… <Christopher smiles at Shay> Oh, come on. You can’t actually be *surprised* he *said* something.
Girls:
<Shay shakes her head> I’m not.. <looks at Brennan> Yes that’s my picture. <looks at Damien, smiles>
Boys:
<Loch looks at Shay, smiles> Babe.. it’s a hot calendar. What’s the big deal?
Boys:
<Damien smiles at Shay, to Ro> Yes, it is.
Boys:
<Seth looks at Shay> Hey.. at least you didn’t do a porn movie they recognized you from.
Girls:
<Shay looks at Seth, blinks, then smiles> Okay.. there *is* that.
Boys:
<Seth smiles> Yeah, *I* wasn’t so lucky.
Boys:
<Van smiles> That’s because you refuse to keep your face out of the shot. <takes a bite out of a rib>
Boys:
<Seth looks at Van> Yeah, well.. at least it was my *face* they recognized. Can you say that?
Boys:
<Van looks at Seth> Not since Sang started collecting the videos, no.
Girls:
<Shay arches her brow, smiles at Damien> Do you recognize them?
Boys:
<Lucien looks at Shay> Are you kidding? At least three of the men at this table *not* from this town do.
Girls:
<Shay looks at Lucien> You too?
Boys:
<Conrad looks at Van and Seth> But we’re *much* more interested in the *girls* you work with.
Boys:
<Lucien smiles at Shay, goes back to eating>
Girls:
<Jenna smiles> I did.

Heartless – Taryn’s Hoedown

Girls:
<Taryn had gone all out for this party, complete with paper lanterns, red gingham tablecloths and napkins, she’d stacked hay bales around and was using them for seating around a giant wooden picnic table, barrels of ice with cans of soda and various beers shoved deep in the ice to keep it cool, two fire pits burned on either side of the yard and candles floated in the pool, the menu consisted of baby back ribs, with her own special sweet sauce and a dry rub that added a tang to the ribs, she’d braised them in beer and now they were now sitting on the smoker giving off an aroma that could be smelled clear up to Saige’s cabin, also on the menu was southern style potato salad, homemade baked beans in a large crock, coleslaw, and for desert apple pie with hand turned crust, all of which sits on a buffet warmer/cooler table off to the side, the locals mill around in groups>
Girls:
<Taryn looks at David and smiles> I couldn’t resist.
Boys:
<David looks at Taryn, a beer in his hand> We’ve got Tequila, right?
Girls:
<Taryn nods> Of course. And I picked up some Jaeger for Genja and company.. along with some rum, vodka, gin and scotch..<shrugs> I wasn’t sure what everyone would want.
Boys:
<Seth walks over, smiling, looks at Taryn> Jesus Christ, Taryn, I feel like I’m on an episode of the Waltons.
Girls:
<Taryn smiles at Seth, putting on her best hillbilly accent> Great aint it? <drops the accent> You’re supposed to. I’m trying to make a point.
Boys:
<Van walks over with Seth, looking around> You know.. it would be interesting to know how all this translates over for Alexei. <looks at Taryn> I mean, think about it. Red and white checkered table cloths are *also* associated with Italian restaurants. I’m thinking there has to be a reason for that.

Hard Day’s Night – Sol Invictus

Girls:
<Bree unlocks the door to the new and improved, now renamed club, it’s been redecorated, and now looks more like an old 40’s burlesque club with flocked wall paper and vintage looking tables and booths and what looks like a new decked out bar, small chandeliers hang above the tables, making the room dance with prisms when she turns on the lights and moves inside>
Boys:
<Christopher looks around as he walks inside with the others, looks at Samuel> Not somethin’ I’d expect *you* to be part of.
Boys:
<Samuel smiles> I’m more of a silent partner.
Boys:
<Christopher smiles> In other words, they outnumber you.
Boys:
<Samuel nods, still smiling> Exactly.
Boys:
<Christopher laughs, nods> Cool.
Boys:
<David looks at Taryn> I almost feel under-dressed.
Girls:
<Taryn smiles> I know. It’s so.. different.
Boys:
<Akhiro walks in with Ren, looks around> Wow. Very nice.
Girls:
<Aubrey moves into the room and to the sound system where she puts on some music not too loud that they can’t talk but loud enough that it can be heard>
Girls:
<Renee’s eyes move around the room> I’m impressed.
Boys:
<Samuel heads to the bar with Aiden and breaks out a couple of bottles and enough glasses for everyone>
Girls:
<Ava blinks> This is great.

Hard Day’s Night – Here Comes the Sun

Boys:
<Ro walks into the Rock Bottom straight from the airport with another man of the same height, same blue eyes only a little bit lighter, shaggy black hair slightly longer than shoulder length, slightly paler skin with a flourish of pale freckles across the bridge of his nose and worry lines etched into his brow, wearing a Yes band t-shirt, faded black jeans and heavy boots>

Boys:
<Loch looks over, sighs> Shit. *Another* one?
Boys:
<Christopher and Ro both stop by the door and look around like they’re surprised, Ro laughs> Wow. This place looks *just* like the cop bar dad used to go to all the time. <Christopher nods, whispers> Why am I here again?
Boys:
<Ro looks at him, whispers> To keep me sane? Because Lucien won’t let me go home til he’s good and ready? To keep me grounded? Because Em can’t get away from the café? Pick one.
Boys:
<Christopher sighs> Right.
Girls:
<Bree looks over and blinks, pushes her chair back, stands, quietly> that’s Christopher.. Ro’s twin. <smiles>
Boys:
<Van looks at them, looks at Bree> They don’t look much like twins.
Boys:
<Loch arches a brow, looks at Bree> The cooler twin?
Girls:
<Ava smiles> Yes.. and the sweet one.
Girls:
<Ava looks at Bree smile>
