Rattlin’ the Cage Inside Me – Wrapping Up The Loose Ends

Samuel took Saige back to her house.  She let him know that she’d taken care of the room and the car.  She also gave him the duffel bag of stuff she’d taken from the room and the car.  Perhaps the most disturbing thing about what was in the bag were the pictures of Samuel and Bree with Bree’s face replaced by Dee’s.

Once at the house, Saige showered,  changed and headed to find Loch.  She figured he’d still be at The Rock.  If not he’d be in his Apartment.

Bree couldn’t get back to the trailer fast enough.  She’d wanted to get the blood and gore off her.  The others used the bathrooms in the barns at Taryn’s and David’s Ranch.  Bree spoke very little as soon as she was out of the shower and dressed, she pulled Genja aside and thanked him for all he’d done.  She truly was grateful to him not just for Dee but Sarah as well.  They also agreed to never speak of it again.  He knew she owed him and she knew it as well.

Rattlin’ the Cage Inside Me – The Queen of Diamonds Loses Her Fire

Bree told Aiden that Saige had removed any weapons the girl had along with her cell phone and keys.  Aiden checked again anyway.  Aiden carried Dee into the cave and dumped her on the hard ground.  The last thing they needed was for Aiden to wind up stabbed in the back while he was carrying her up the mountain.  Once there the others backed off, leaving Bree to deal with Dee.  Bree had never been as angry as she was when she’d seen the gun trained on Samuel, she was still riding that wave and had every intention of making the other girl suffer.  Bree didn’t usually hold grudges but this was a long time coming and while she felt that Samuel probably deserved the killing shot, he was not going to get her filthy blood on his hands.   Bree was going to make sure of that.  Dee was suffering, the girl was in unimaginable pain, Bree knew this.  She’d watched Dee’s face contort in agony as Aiden carried her.  Bree watched as Dee hit the ground hard enough that she bounced once and passed out.  If Bree thought Dee wouldn’t come back she’d totally have gone for sending her to Matoaka, but Bree had learned early on…they *always* come back.  The more vicious the monster the harder they are to kill.

Ava and Kendra with Aiden and Genja stood back interjecting where appropriate.  Genja made a few suggestions, about certain parts of the girl’s anatomy that could be used as souvenirs.  Bree looked at him and shook her head, speaking softly to him, “I don’t want *anything* of her’s, the disease ridden, skanky ass, cum guzzling, *whore*, but feel free to help yourself. ”  Ava looked at Aiden, arching her brow while Kendra hid a smile, knowing that *Bree* wouldn’t say those things unless extremely pissed.

Dee lay on the ground in a puddle of her own making, blood mixed with drool and other fluids.  Bree was working her over pretty well.  Dee somehow managed to keep the screaming to a minimum.   No one stepped in to help her, as she’d known no one would.  Dee was saying silent prayers to all the gods she knew that Bree would tire out, and just shoot her, and almost two hours into it Bree stood over Dee, the gun pointed at her face, Dee’s dark eyes stared into Bree’s much lighter ones, quietly Dee whispered, “I’m sorry, Bree.”  Bree shook her head and her finger shook on the trigger.  In that moment, Bree knew no feeling for the other girl at all.  Samuel walked up behind Bree, wrapped his arms around her middle, leaned down and whispered in her ear, “Finish it, Baby Girl.”  Bree pulled the trigger, flinching as the rapport of the gun echoed through the cave.

As Bree watched Dee’s face become little more than pulp, Saige was taking on another type of clean up.  She’d gone to the motel Dee was staying at, gotten her things from the room, and left the key along with enough money to cover that night and a nice tip.  She came back to the ranch and spent the next hour scouring the woods near the fence line looking for Dee’s rental car.  Once located, she sent a text to Samuel,  “Car and hotel room taken care of.  I need a ride back to the Ranch, please.  Call me ”  She searched the car, putting any stray items she found in the duffel bag she’d taken from the hotel room, got in and drove it to the rental place, settled up with them as well and started walking back. with the bag slung over her shoulder.

Rattlin’ the Cage Inside Me – Lunatic Fringe Edition

Don’t you draw the queen of diamonds, boy
She’ll beat you if she’s able

Dee spent most of her time biding it and watching.  No one knew she was here.  She’d left home with only a suitcase, the car she drove was a rental she picked up from some fly by night place.  She’d paid cash and a hefty deposit, filled out the paperwork and been on her way.   She’d taken her two weeks Vacation from the club and come here.  If they wanted to they’d figure it out soon enough but they wouldn’t care about *her*, it would be Samuel and Bree they worried about.  She smiled to herself, as they should.

This wasn’t about Samuel being with Bree this was about the many times he’d fucked her.  The many times he’d fucked her over.  This was about revenge.  She wanted *him* to feel the same things she’d felt and she knew exactly how that was going to happen.  She’d spent the better part of a week just lurking…waiting for the perfect moment.  She knew she’d have to disappear when it was over..not just from here but everywhere.   They’d come after her with a vengeance and while she really didn’t *care, she knew enough to know it would be a slow and painful end.

She lay in wait for Samuel at the trailer.  She knew that, today he would be alone on the ranch during band practice.  Taryn would be at the feed store and Saige would be holed up in the cabin like she was most days at this time.  She had every intention of making good use of the few hours she had *alone* with him.  She could hear the truck coming up the drive and every nerve in her body tensed.  She had one chance if she blew it… she’d be done.  She stood in the shadows of just inside the door of the trailer, the bat cocked and ready, in her waistband was her gun and Samuel’s, she’d been through the place with a fine tooth comb and liberated all the weapons she found.  They were well out of reach and not in the trailer anymore.  She heard the knob turn and tensed again, her breathing shallow and quiet.  She knew his MO was to smoke a bowl, then come inside, maybe nap or watch TV.  Either way his schedule was going to go a little bit different today.  He opened the door, stepped in and turned toward the back of the trailer, as she struck from behind cracking the bat against his head.  She watched as he crumbled to the floor.

Dee knew she had to move fast.  She had no idea how long he’d be out for.  She quickly closed the door, bound his hands and feet tightly, divested him of his weapons, and phone, then duct tapped his mouth.  Once done with that she dragged his body to the back of the trailer where she tied him to the metal bed frame.   Then she waited… She knew they went to the Rock after practice and Samuel usually met Bree there.  She figured she had some time before Bree came looking for him.

I Am Heaven Sent – Breaking Through

Boys:
<meanwhile, Pope looks over when Seth and Siobhan walk over, smiles> I thought we’d run a little screen test.
Boys:
<Seth stops in front of him, places his hands on his hips> Screen test?
Girls:
<Siobhan leans on the saw horse, looks at Pope> Why?
Boys:
<Pope looks at Siobhan> Because I’ve seen you and Van together all day, but I haven’t seen you and Seth together.
Girls:
<Siobhan looks at Seth>
Boys:
<Seth looks at Siobhan> So much for being done talking about work.
Boys:
<Pope nods> I did say that. But that was before Bonnie and I were talking and I realized that since I have you two here.. <looks at Seth> And you’re such a bastard to get a hold of.. I should take advantage of it.
Girls:
<Siobhan nods> Seriously. <looks back at Pope> But a screen test? *really*.
Boys:
<Pope smiles> I just want to see how you guys work together. And.. I was thinking Seth will probably be more believable as snubbed guy at bar in Saige’s first scene, but.. I want to be sure before I just cast him in it.
Boys:
<Seth looks at Pope> Van’s believable when he’s in Dom role, why not snubbed guy in bar?
Boys:
<Pope looks at Seth pointedly> Because *you’re* more of a natural fit.
Boys:
<Seth shakes his head> All right, fine. Whatever.

I Am Heaven Sent – Setting Things Right

Boys:
<meanwhile upstairs, Van looks at Siobhan> I guess they bailed?
Girls:
<Siobhan nods> I guess so. <looks at him> Seth and Lia too. <shakes her head>
Boys:
<Van smiles> I was talking about Seth and Lia.
Boys:
<Loch looks over at them> What the fuck did you expect? Christ. Could you ignore them anymore?
Girls:
<Siobhan smiles> Oh.. sorry. <looks at Loch> I wasn’t ignoring anyone.
Boys:
<Loch walks over, looks at Siobhan> Come on. Where’s your head at? The bar’s upstairs and everyone’s standin’ around downstairs and instead of havin’ everyone move upstairs, you’ve got me and Van runnin’ up and down makin’ drinks and playin’ serving staff. What the hell?
Boys:
<Loch shrugs> Not to mention all the shit for sittin’ on is up here.
Girls:
<Siobhan shakes her head> That’ wasn’t me ignoring anyone that was me not thinking.
Boys:
<Loch nods> I know. But *why*? The ignoring bit I’m talkin’ about was you and Van barely sayin’ two words to Seth and Lia. Why were they here if you didn’t want them here?
Boys:
<Van looks at Loch> It’s business, Loch. It wasn’t supposed to be a social event.
Boys:
<Loch nods> Right. So.. how exactly do you “conduct business” if you don’t actually *talk* business? Pope could’ve taken ’em out to dinner and achieved the same shit.

Girls:
<Lia smiles, softly> Hello. How have you been?
Boys:
<Pope shrugs, smiles again> Well, you know. Can’t complain. Work’s been good to me lately. I heard you guys moved here, too. *Why*?

Boys:
<Pope and Bonnie have just arrived and are looking around the bottom floor of the warehouse where Van and Siobhan have set up all the props, Pope smiles> This is nice.
Girls:
<Siobhan smiles> I actually dig living upstairs. <looks at Van> It could be an interesting conversation starter.
Boys:
<Van, who’s walking with Pope and Bonnie and has his arm around Siobhan’s waist, laughs> Yeah, no shit.
Boys:
<Pope smiles at Bonnie> I kind of feel like I’m at home.
Girls:
<Bonnie smiles> Yeah me too. It’s missing a few key pieces though.
Boys:
<Pope looks at her> Like what?
Girls:
<Bonnie smiles> A torture table, and <her eyes take on a far off look> my favorite…
Boys:
<Van looks at Bonnie curiously> Your favorite?

I Am Heaven Sent – The Crow and the Butterfly

Boys:
<Van waits in front of Lucio’s with Siobhan, checks the time on his phone> I think I’m actually a little nervous.
Girls:
<Siobhan nods> Me too. <smiles> This is my first time on this side of things.. I was usually the one being wined and dined by the temperamental director.
Boys:
<Van smiles> Or chained up?
Girls:
<Siobhan laughs> Yes.. that too.
Girls:
<Siobhan smiles> Though I guess if he didn’t remember me I didn’t make that much of an impression on him.
Boys:
<Van smiles again> He remembered you. And it didn’t take *that* much prodding.

I’ma Make It Rain On the Girl Who Serves Me – Keepin’ On

Boys:
<several rings later, an irritated voice answers> This better be good because I’ve only been asleep for about five minutes. Speak.
Girls:
<Siobhan looks at Van and smiles>
Boys:
<Van looks at Siobhan, smiles again> Pope? Evander Shaughnessey. We worked… <Pope rolls his eyes> I *know* what we worked on. Why are you waking me up?
Girls:
<Bonnie rolls over and drapes herself over Pope> Who the hell’s calling *this* time?
Boys:
<Van shakes his head, mouths “Dick”> I’m sitting here with Siobhan, who you’ve also worked with… and long story short, we’re looking for a director. You happen to the best one we know.
Boys:
<Pope looks at Bonnie> Van Shaughnessey. He’s kissing my ass for a director. <to Van> You need a director for porn? What’s wrong with your usual pool of low lifes?
Boys:
<Van smiles> Our usual pool of low lifes don’t have artistic vision. Just erections.
Girls:
<Bonnie smiles> Oh *this* should be good.
Boys:
<Pope puts *his* phone on speaker>
Boys:
<Pope smiles> So you want an erection with artistic vision?
Girls:
<Siobhan smiles at Van, to Pope> That’s exactly what we’re looking for.
Boys:
<Van nods> Something like that. We want *you* because you focus on the vision and not the naked women in the frame.
Boys:
<Pope looks at Bonnie> Well.. you’ve gotta give them credit for recognizing genius when they see it.
Girls:
<Bonnie looks at Pope, smiles> There is that.. who’re the actors?
